Ashley Gorman,
Recruitment Director
After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Business with Marketing, Ashley started his career in recruitment, specialising within civil and structural engineering. Now, with over 10 years experience in the industry, Ashley was one of the founders of ALink Recruitment in 2021. Ashley works across all areas of the business but his sole focus is to oversee the recruitment of both the permanent and contract desks to ensure the best service is provided to both candidates and clients.
Ashley deals with the business development side of the business, creating longstanding relationships with candidates as well as engineering consultancies within the sector. He is responsible for growing turnover, as well as ensuring both candidates and clients get the best recruitment experience.
Vas Vernikos,
Finance Director
After graduating with a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering, Vas continued his education with a Masters and a Doctorate in Corporate Technical Innovation. Vas started his career as a Structural Engineer and moved to Project Management roles once completing his graduate scheme. Now, with over 10 years of experience in project and operational areas, Vas is working to ensure the commercial and operational process of the firm are in compliance with governance.
Vas is responsible for the profitability, cashflow and commercial health of the organization. He leads all elements of finance and back-office process, to enable the business to operate and grow sustainably. He supports client engagement activities and develops the business strategy for the medium and long term.
